B&J Welding Supply

B&J Welding Supply is a locally owned welding supply distributor serving West Texas, the Texas Panhandle and the Permian Basin, with branches in Lubbock, Midland, Lamesa, Snyder, Post and Amarillo. The company also promotes locations in Odessa, San Angelo and Abilene. It supplies industrial and specialty gases, welding machines, filler metals, abrasives and personal protective equipment, and states it has served the region for more than 40 years.

The company describes itself as one of two locally owned welding supply companies in its area and the only one with multiple locations, and states it is the largest independent welding supply company between Albuquerque and Dallas. It also states it is the only one of those able to purchase bulk gases and repackage them to control costs, and reports growth upwards of 30 percent for three consecutive years. Staff are credited with a combined 125 years of experience.

Service center and equipment repair

The company states it is one of the only welding distributors in the region operating its own service center, with in-house and on-site repair. Certified technicians perform welding machine calibrations both in house and on site and issue a certificate of calibration. B&J is an authorized warranty repair provider and accepts major welding machine brands for warranty work.

Bulk propane

B&J entered the bulk propane business in 2017 and supplies residential and commercial customers across West Texas, with a delivery fleet based at each of its six locations. Employees in that division are credited with a combined 60 years of experience.
