Enginuity Global is an engineering and technical services company working across four lines: automation and controls, electrical engineering, field services, and network solutions. It was founded in 2018 by Dan Ducote, Rich Major and Eric Belgard, starting with an automation and control unit serving the oil and gas industry, then adding electrical engineering in 2019 and field services the following year. The company lists its office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, describes a team of more than 75 people, and states it received the Louisiana Economic Development Growth Leader Award in 2023.

Automation and controls

The automation group works the full system lifecycle, from concept and design through configuration, testing, commissioning and startup, and ongoing service, covering new installations, integrations, retrofits and troubleshooting. Specific work includes panel design and fabrication, functional and hardware specification, controls documentation, alarm management and rationalization, loop tuning, historian services, process simulation and virtualization. Project examples

Published case studies include a hotspot monitoring system built for a global independent energy company that wanted electrical data from deepwater assets without sending personnel to perform manual periodic checks. The electrical team produced drawings for three approaches capturing temperature, amperage and voltage variance, local alarms, and monitoring of medium and low voltage systems on both the line and load sides. The client installed all three in parallel, with the field services team handling installation and the automation group tying the systems into the client's DCS.

The company states that one of the system manufacturers subsequently approached it about becoming a preferred installer, and that it still helps monitor those systems. Other published projects cover arc flash mitigation, remote personnel supply at isolated job sites, and a digital transformation project on the Bullwinkle platform carried out in partnership with Stratus.
