The business began in Amarillo in 1979 as Amarillo Pump & Supply Co. and adopted the Gicon Pumps & Equipment name in 2009. It operates six Texas branches in Amarillo, Fort Worth, Johnson City, Lubbock, Odessa, and San Antonio, and was acquired by Headwater Companies in 2021. Product lines cover pumps, motors, controls, pipe, tanks, water treatment, and wire and electrical goods, and the company offers an On-Site Inventory program for contractors.
