Jet-Lube

Jet-Lube manufactures anti-seize compounds, thread lubricants, drilling compounds, sealants and greases for the oilfield, water well and heavy industrial markets. The brand dates to 1949, and the company states its products have been solving equipment maintenance problems for more than 75 years. Jet-Lube is a registered trademark of Whitmore Manufacturing, LLC, a CSW Industrials company, and is produced at a facility registered to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

Products reach customers worldwide through a distribution and MRO network built from factory representatives and warehouses in key locations. The related DEACON line covers high-temperature sealants, and OilSafe is named as a sister brand for lubricant storage and handling.

Drilling and tool joint compounds

The drilling range covers metallic and nonmetallic thread compounds for drill collars, tool joints, drill rods and tubing connections, with arctic, geothermal and environmental versions of several products. Kopr-Kote is the copper-based drill collar and tool joint compound, NCS-30 is a nonconductive nonmetallic thread compound registered NSF H2, and Bullseye is formulated for water well and environmental drilling. Separate HDD Autolube and HDD Kopr compounds are built for horizontal directional drilling.

Anti-seizes and high-temperature compounds

The anti-seize compounds are formulated to protect metal fasteners and parts from rust, corrosion, galling and metal-to-metal contact, using copper, nickel or moly flakes in a grease base. Nikal and Marine Grade Anti-Seize are rated to 2600°F, the nonmetallic 550 to 2400°F, and Silver Plus Regular to 1800°F.

Narrower formulations include White Knight, a food grade NSF H1 anti-seize, Nikal Nuclear, and Moly Petrolatum for aircraft spark plugs. On the sealing side, DEACON 3100 is an extruded gasket compound rated from 200°F to 950°F and up to 1500 psi, and DEACON 3300 runs from 600°F to 1600°F.

Industries and applications

Markets named on the site are food and beverage, horizontal directional drilling, industrial, oilfield, petrochemical, pipeline and refinery. Listed application points run from drill collars, tool joints, drill rods and tubing connections to bearings, threads, nuts and bolts, and cables and wire ropes, across oilfield, HDD and water well drilling machinery, piping, valves and general plant maintenance.

Food grade products are NSF registered and Kosher and Halal certified for use in food processing plants, spanning the H1, H2, K1, K2 and C1 categories. Easy-Clean Liquid is offered as a frac and rig wash within the cleaner and degreaser range.
