Mountain Supply and Service, LLC (MSS) is an oilfield supply and service company formed in 2009 under Mountain Companies by two East Texas families, initially focused on the Marcellus Shale. The company is a one-stop supplier for the completion of horizontal wells, offering completion chemicals and fluids, flow iron and 1502 fittings, plug valves, choke manifolds, choke stems and beans, pump and fluid end repair parts, O-rings, gaskets, gauges, general supplies, valves, and pipe fittings. Its service offerings include specialty water treatment programs, injection systems for completion chemicals, and, through affiliate Mountain Pressure Testing, pressure testing services. MSS is the licensed Katch Kan dealer for the Appalachian Basin and operates locations in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Colorado, Ohio, and Midland, Texas.
