Premium Oilfield Technologies is a manufacturer and provider of mud pump systems and expendables for the US land drilling market, founded in 2003 serving rigs in West and South Texas. The company designs and builds top drives, iron roughnecks, power swivels, rotating control devices (RCDs), managed pressure drilling (MPD) chokes, mud gate valves, and mud pump pistons, valves, and liners. It operates a top drive repair and recertification business with locations in Houston, Midland and Odessa, and Dubai, and provides cloud-connected monitoring software for its RCD and MPD equipment. Premium's corporate headquarters is in Houston, Texas, and it opened an expansion facility in West Texas in 2025 that combines its Mud Handling, Drilling Equipment and Support, and RCD/MPD divisions. The company states it sells to more than 80 percent of operating rigs in US shale plays and also has operations in Canada, Mexico, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and India.
