Regions Energy LLC

Regions Permian, LLC (formerly Regions Energy LLC) is a privately held oil and gas company based in Midland, Texas, focused on acquisition and development opportunities in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico and, more recently, the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma. Founded in 2012 by Travis Newkumet, the company has purchased leasehold interests in over 15 counties across the Permian Basin and currently holds non-operated working interests and mineral interests in more than 1,000 wells in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Between 2013 and 2019, Regions and its partners acquired and divested over 500 million dollars in assets across the Permian Basin, including a partnership with a Kayne Anderson-sponsored portfolio company in the Midland Basin and a later partnership with Carnelian Energy Capital, also in the Midland Basin. The company is currently pursuing Permian Basin and Oklahoma projects with private capital and strategic partners, focusing on non-operated working interests with tier one operators, and is acquiring acreage in the core of the Midland and Delaware Basins.
