The company maintains strategically located pipe yards, including a yard in Midland serving the Permian Basin, along with Houston, Oklahoma City, and Greeley, Colorado, to keep pipe close to active drilling regions.
Headquartered in the St. Louis area, SpearTip Tubular was founded by CEO Ryan Hunt, who brings more than a decade of experience in the pipe business. Hunt previously founded RigCallOut, an oilfield service-quality technology company that was acquired in 2023, before returning to the pipe industry to build SpearTip. The company emphasizes deep industry experience and a commitment to quality and reliable supply.
