Henry Resources

Henry Resources is the Permian Basin oil and gas arm of the Henry organization, a family office based in Midland, Texas, and in business since 1969 when Jim Henry founded the company. Historically an operator known for its work in the Spraberry and Wolfberry plays, Henry divested virtually all of its remaining operated oil and gas assets to Vital Energy in November 2023 and pivoted away from operations. The company is now focused on acquiring non-operated working interest in the Midland and Delaware Basins and maintains a strategic partnership with Midland-based operator Oxbow Petroleum. The broader Henry organization also includes a diversified alternative investments segment.
